Pool Day

Yesterday, we went to the Cramerton pool with Lisa and Emily. I absolutely love the Cramerton pool. It has a 1.5 Ft deep baby pool that has a fence around it. I can actually relax and enjoy the water and sun without having to constantly worry about the kids. It was a really fun day and I got lots of sun!

Katelin Visits

Katelin spent the day at our house. Both boys loved playing with her today. Neither one got a nap, so they are both worn out and ready for bed!

Tissues

While my mom was at the pool with Caleb, and I was on the computer, I caught Graysen pulling out all of the tissues out of the Kleenex box in the hotel room. If you listen carefully, you can hear his imitation sound of blowing his nose.

Riding Diamond

Aunt Sandy helped Caleb ride Alaine's pony, Diamond. Caleb loved riding. He really has an attraction towards horses.

We are now on our way home back to South Carolina. We are staying in Kentucky tonight and only have four more hours of driving tomorrow until we are home!

Yikes!!!

Lee is holding down the fort while the boys and I are playing in Illinois and Michigan. This is a picture that he sent to me of a bug that he found in our basement. I am glad that I was not home for the battle. I would have freaked out.

Sunday in Michigan

Here are a few pictures from our final day in Michigan. We spent the morning boating. The conditions on Lake Michigan were beautiful, so we took the boat over to the next harbor town of Saugatuck. Saugatuck is a quaint little town on the Kalamazoo River. Afterward, we ate lunch at Captain Sundae. President Bush ate at Captain Sundae in 2004, but I know that it has been a traditional lunch place for Aunt Dolores and Uncle Bob for years and years. I have fond memories of "The Captain" from my childhood.

Caleb chillin' on the boat. He LOVES boating.
Graysen doesn't love it so much. He mainly does not like having to wear a life vest.
Big Red, Caleb's favorite sight in Michigan.
Leaving Holland's harbor.
Lake Michigan.
Graysen falls asleep instantly on the boat.
A paddle wheel on the Kalamazoo River.
Saugatuck.
Caleb loves helping Uncle Bob drive the boat.
Caleb was thrilled to be eating a Batman ice cream bar.
Caleb picked out a Spider-Man bar for Graysen.

More Pictures from Michigan

Batman taking a break.
Caleb waiting to go boating.
Mommy and Graysen. (Graysen did not like his life vest.)
Graysen waiting to go boating. He had a lot of trouble walking in the life vest. If he fell down, he could not get back up.
Caleb looking at "Big Red." He LOVES lighthouses.
The entrance to Lake Michigan. The forecast predicted 6 foot waves, so we didn't go out on it. We stayed on Lake Macatawa.
Graysen slept most of the boat ride, and I took the opportunity to get a little R&R myself.
Uncle Bob, Caleb, and Aunt Dolores.
Alaine and I.
We had a great lunch at Boatwerks on the lake. It was a beautiful view and wonderful food.
Caleb loved driving the boat. When he went to bed last night, he said, "A-pub drive boat. BIIIIG boat." It made an impression on him.

Trip to Holland, Michigan

We traveled to Holland, Michigan yesterday. The trip was smooth and it is very relaxing to be here. We stopped for lunch at Redamaks in New Buffalo, MI. It was a great lunch and the kids had fun. Included in the pictures are Uncle Bob, Aunt Dolores, and my cousin, Alaine.

Museum of Science and Industry

Today we went to the Museum of Science and Industry, which is one of my all time favorite museums. Caleb loved it, especially the train set. He also loved the drive to the museum and got to see lots of commuter trains.

Trip Update

I found access to WI-FI, so I was able to upload some pictures from our trip. We are having a blast!

We found an old-time barber chair at a restaurant in Scottsburg, IN. This is Graysen's tribute to Uncle Bob.
Graysen had a rough second day. His stomach was messed up from the traveling. Notice that he has lost all his clothes due to a tummy incident and Grammy got him settled in for a comfy rest.
Caleb walking to the barn. He was instructed to not touch any trees because they are poison (poison ivy). He will probably never touch another tree for the rest of his life.
We had a fun swimming day with friends from my mom's childhood. I got to see my old friend Sarah from my childhood trips to Illinois.
Alaine introduced Caleb to her horse, Diamond. Caleb gets to ride Diamond next week.
