Outtakes from our 2011 Christmas Card Photoshoot

We took the boys to Hatcher Gardens to try to get a decent photo for this year's Christmas card. Their energy (especially Graysen's) made that a bit difficult, but it worked out in the end. These are several of the photos we didn't pick for the card.

Where's Caleb?

Last night, we went into the boys' room to check Graysen's temperature. (See the previous post.) Caleb wasn't in his bed and was nowhere in sight. We eventually found him curled up under his bed, sound asleep.

It's not easy to get a sleeping boy out from under a bed.

This morning, I told Caleb that he wasn't in bed last night, and he smiled and said, "Yes, I went to sleep under the bed, next to the wall." Apparently, it was intentional.

Home Base

Poor Little Gray is a pukey mess today. After puking in the car and in his room, he has been designated to a "home base" area in front of the TV.

Caleb is SO sweet and got his brother a basket of cars, operates Net Flix for him, and told me that he would clean up by himself tonight so that Graysen could rest.

I am now off to have some peppermint tea to settle my stomach after all the clean up!

Caleb's 6th Birthday Party

We celebrated Caleb's 6th Birthday last weekend with a Transformers-themed party at our house.

There was cake...

and games...

lots of friends to play with...

....and leftover cake for breakfast the next morning!
