We have officially arrived in the Outer Banks and are vacation. It was a long day. We woke up at 3:30 AM, hoping that the boys would sleep a significant part of the trip. Our plan backfired on us. Caleb did not sleep at all and Graysen took a short nap. Instead, we had two hungry, tired, and grumpy little boys (especially Graysen).The highlight of the trip for Caleb was when we got to watch a sailboat go through the rotating bridge over the Alligator River. He loved it! We were the first car in line so he had a great view.
We are all settled in and the team is in the process of grilling fresh Mahi for dinner. We are looking forward to a fun week with Kevin and Erica and some R&R in the Outer Banks.
